Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a nutrient food having no fishy smell nor taste, by blending frozen fish meat which is previously fumigated with butter or margarine, a natural ingredient for preparing pasty material, and, if necessary, vegetables, grinding then into paste, followed by adding agar to the paste to make a solid material.
CONSTITUTION: Fumigated fish meat (containing fish eggs) is processed into ground meat, which is frozen and blended well with a seasoning, butter or margarine, and, if necessary, (dried) vegetables or their soup, and processed into paste. The paste is mixed with a viscosity builder, e.g., sodium alginate, etc., a water retaining agent, and a solution of gelatin.
