Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a super heat resistanc alloy for casting having superior tensile strength, creep rupture strength, deformation resistance and oxidation resistance at >=1,000 deg.C high temp. by adding a specified amount of Ti, misch metal, etc. to an Ni-Cr-Co steel. CONSTITUTION:This Ni-Cr-Co super heat resistant alloy for casting consists of 0.03-0.3%C, 0.3-2.0%Si, 0.3-2.0%Mn, 20-40%Cr, 20-40%Ni, 10-30%Co, 0.05-0.5% Ti and the balance Fe or further contains 0.03-0.3% misch metal. By adding 0.05-0.5% Ti and 0.03-0.3% misch metal to an Ni-Cr-Co heat resistant alloy, a dense oxide film is formed on the surface of a cast alloy by the synergistic effect of them to enhance the oxidation resistance at high temp. This alloy is used as a material for jigs for a billet heating furnace, a soaking pit, a heat treatment furnace, etc.
