Abstract
PURPOSE:To mass produce a compact type fluorescent lamp with simple work by bonding a glass container with a concave groove for partition plate insertion and a stem panel on which a concave area for the partition plate and electrode mount are mounted with a flit of a low fusing point. CONSTITUTION:A cross-shaped partition wall is formed by engaging the groove 7 of a partition plate 5 with that 7' of a partition plate 6. It is inserted in the concave groove 3 on the inner surface of a glass container 1 and the top of the partition plate 5 is tightly sealed inside the top of the container 1. Then a stem panel 8 on which a concave area 9 for the partition plate insertion and an electrode mount are mounted in the opening area of the container 1 and the lower surface of the container 1 makes contact to a stepping area 8a. A flit of a low fusing point is coated on the stepped area 8a and the upper other surface area 8b, respectively and deposited by heating the same in electric furnaces. The inside of the container 1 is kept airtight and lamp assembling is completed. This can mass produce lamps with simple work without relying on the skill of workers.
