Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover exhaust heat of sintering by using steam, obtained by making use of waste heat of cooling blast discharged from a sintered ore cooling device to a boiler, as driving energy of furnace top pressure turbine together with blast furnace gas.
CONSTITUTION: A sintered ore cooling device 1 of a sintering apparatus cools sintered ore by forced cooling blast blown out toward air collecting covers 13b, 13b' from blow outlets 13a, 13a' when the sintered ore melted in the sintering device is supplied on a moving bed 11. The high temperature-cooling air recovered at the air collecting cover 13b is conducted to a boiler B to rise the temperature of the water in the boiler B. Then, the steam generated in the boiler B is conducted to the inlet side of a furnace top pressure turbine 4 to be mixed with the blast furnace gas exhausted from the blast furnace 2 and supplied to the furnace top pressure turbine 4. The mixed gas through the turbine 4 is sent to a hot air furnace 5, a blast furnace gas holder 6, and a boiler 7 for the repeated use.
