Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize the sensible heat of exhaust gas effectively by a method wherein the hot exhaust gas discharged from the side of a ore-discharging part of a system consisting of an ore-supplying part and the ore-discharging part is used as a heat source for a boiler and then it is fed to a low-temperature exhaust gas part on the side of the ore-supplying part.
CONSTITUTION: The ore material 2 is supplied from the ore-supplying part A, is then sintered while moving together with a pallet 3 and is recovered at the ore- discharging part B. The hot exhaust gas of a temperature of not lower than about 300°C at the discharging part B is sucked through a duct 6a, while the low-temperature exhaust gas of a temperature of not higher than about 300°C on the side L of the low-temperature ore-supplying part is sucked through a duct 6b. The hot exhaust gas sucked through the duct 6a is recovered as electric power at a system- driven power generation plant 12, and the cooled exhaust gas is utilized as a suction gas for the side L of the ore-supplying part. Namely, the hot exhaust gas sucked through the duct 6a is deprived of dust 13 as required, and is used as a power source by feeding it to the power generation plant 12 consisting of the boiler 12a, a turbine 12b, a condenser 12c, a pump 12d and a generator 12e.
