Abstract
PURPOSE:To regulate the distribution of temperature in the section in the thickwise direction during the extraction by a procedure in which the maximum temperature and the minimum temperature in the thickwise direction of a rolled steel at any position in the lengthwise direction are obtained in relation to rolling load, etc., and then a heating furnace is controlled according to the data. CONSTITUTION:The surface temperature in the middle portion of the rolled steel M taken out of the heating furnace 1 to the rolling line L is detected by the temperatue detector 4, and rolling load at the crude rolling stand 3 in the middle portion is detected by the load cell 6. The rolling condition pursuer 7 detects the deviation of rolling condition from the standard rolling condition from extraction to rolling on the basis of the temperature signal of the detector 4 and the load signal of the load cells 5 and 6. Then, representative temperature is obtained from the temperature signal of the arithmetic unit 8, the load signal of the load cell 6, and the signal of the tracer unit 7, and the arithmetic unit 9 obtains a representative temperature from the load signal of the load cell 6. The signals from the arithmetic units 8 and 9 are put in the arithmetic unit 10 where a given set temperature is calculated according to the difference in the temperatures obtained. The results of calculations are sent to the heating furnace controller 11 to regulate the heating furnace to the set temperature.
