CONSTITUTION:The enclosure of an X-ray fluorescent multiplier consists of an X-ray incident window section 11 which is made of Al or Al alloys formed convex out toward or slightly convex nearly like a plane and provided with a collar 11a, barrel section 21 which is made of Al or Al alloys and provided with the respective conical collars 21a and 21b connected to this window section, and output section 41 provided with an annular body 31 connected to this barrel. This output section 41 is made of glass, and the annular body 31 is provided with a collar 31a and made of copal. The outer diameter of the collar 21b of the barrel 21 is larger than that of the collar 31a of the annular body 31. The tip of the collar 31a is formed in a wedged shape to allow easy rise of the temperature of the annular body during welding. Thus the fragility of a welding section, can be eliminated.
