PURPOSE:To perform temp. detection with high accuracy and improve mass-productivity by exciting a piezoelectric vibrator in two modes. CONSTITUTION:Two oscillation circuits are formed by connecting feedback circuits 7a, 7b respectively to a vibrator 6 having exciting electrodes 6a, 6b, for f1 vibration mode and exciting electrodes 6c, 6d for f2 vibration mode. The frequency differences fT of the respective oscillation outputs are calculated 8 and counted 9. Temp. is operated 10 from the count value and is displayed 11.
