CONSTITUTION: An alloy is prepared consisting of, by wt., 13.5W20% Si, 4W5% Cu, 0.3W0.7% Mg, 1.5W2% Ni, >0W1% Fe, 0.4W0.8% Cr and the balance essentially Al. To the alloy may be added about 0.4wt% P in general.
