Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the insulation structure by drawing a primary terminal from the center of a series winding located at an intermediate position while upper and lower ends of a series winding located at an intermediate position are connected in series to the center of a series winding located on both sides. CONSTITUTION:In a core having main legs 1a 1d and side legs 1e and 1f, tertiary windings 4 and 4, shunt windings 5a and 5d, series winding 6a and 6d are arranged concentrically in that order from inside and wound on the main legs 1a and 1d located on both sides thereof. Shunt windings 5b and 5d and series windings 6b and 6d are arranged concentrically in that order from inside and wound around main legs 1d and 1c located at an intermediate position. Leads at the heightwise centers of the winding 6b and a winding 6c are drawn by a common connection to make a primary terminal 7. The leads 10 at the heightwise centers of the windings 6a and 6c are set at an intermediate position between the primary terminal voltage and the secondary terminal voltage. Such a winding arrangement can reduce the voltages of the windings 4, 5a and 6a or the windings 4, 5d and 6d, hard to ease the electric field thereof, to an intermediate voltage level between the primary terminal and the secondary terminal.
