Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a transformer with a small installation space, a high stability and reliability by a method wherein two windings are arranged on both ends of a winding with one fixed rated voltage and connections of windings are switched over from the exterior of a tank to select a rated voltage. CONSTITUTION:A medium-voltage winding 10 and a high-voltage winding 11 are arranged inside and outside a low-voltage winding 9, and these are incorporated in an oil tank 13 with an iron core 12, and each terminal of windings is taken out of the tank via respective bushings. In order to operate at a medium-voltage, winding terminals 10A and 11A are together linked to connect with a line 15, and a neutral point terminal 10N is connected with terminal 11B and also winding 10 and 11 are parallel connected. In order to switch to a high-voltage side, terminal 10A is connected to terminal 11..B, and after disconnecting terminal 10N from terminal 11B, terminal 11B is connected to terminal 10A, and winding 10 is connected with winding 11 in series. With the structure, switching over of a unit into two rated voltages can be done so that an installation space can be reduced., voltage switching is easy, and stability and reliability on a line can be improved.
