Abstract
PURPOSE: To return the separated sludge in the settling tank to the active sludge treating tank so that the generating amount of excessive sludge may be reduced, by supplying the treated waste water of catalytic oxidation treatment tank to the active sludge treating tank and the treated water of active sludge treating tank to the settling tank.
CONSTITUTION: The raw waste water is supplied to catalytic oxidation treatment tank 1 through piping 4 and to active sludge treating tanks 2aW2c through pipings 5aWac. Then, the raw waste water in treatment tank 1 is treated while it is aerated with the air from piping 6 and supplied to the first stage active sludge treating tank 2a through piping 7. Moreover, to treating tank 2a the returning sludge is supplied from settling tank 3 through piping 8, and the sludge is treated by aeration treatment together with the treated waste water and raw waste water with the air from piping 9a, and then, they are supplied to the second stage treating tank 2b through piping 10 and treated by similar treatment. After they are supplied to the third treating tank 2c through piping 11 and treated there, they are sent to settling tank 12 where the sludge is separated. The necessary amount of sludge is supplied to the first treating tank 2a through piping 8. The excessive sludge is removed through piping 13.
