Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform transferring of a number of sheets at high speed by a simple operation by sticking a thermal transfer ink layer on a toner image or a carbon image and then transferring the thermal transfer ink layer stuck thereto on a copying sheet. CONSTITUTION:A master 3 is prepared by forming the toner image or carbon image 2 of a reversal image on a base sheet or a film 1 by a method of electrostatic transfer, hand-writing, type-printing or the like. Next, thermal transfer type cabon paper 5 having the thermal transfer ink layer 4 on the lower surface thereof is arranged on the surface whereon the image 2 of the master 3 is formed and is pressed under the irradiation of thermal rays 9 such as infrared rays, whereby the thermal transfer ink layer 4 is stuck on to the toner image or the carbon image 2. Then, the layer 4 stuck to the toner image or the carbon image 2 is transferred on to a copying sheet, and thus the aimed transfer is obtained.
