Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a highly efficient transcription with no disturbance of image, by providing a means that is adjacent to a photoreceptor and transcribes a colored particle image onto a transcription medium member by means of the adhesive power plus a means that heats and melt-sticks said particle image on the transcription medium member to transcribe the image onto a recording sheet, in a two-color copying device. CONSTITUTION:A two-color separation development image is formed on a composite photoreceptor 1 through a prescribed process. A transfer belt 7 pressed by a pressure roller 9 contacts with the surface of the photoreceptor 1. As a result, almost 80% of the colored particle image on the photoreceptor 1 is transcribed by the adhesion properties of the belt 7. The colored particle image on the belt is heated and melted by the action of a toner softening unit 11 set closely and oppositely to the surface of the belt 7 and then transcribed almost 100% onto a transfer paper P. The belt 7 is cleaned by a unit 12 and cooled to recover its adhesion properties.
