Abstract

1409755 Fixing electrostatic toner images RICOH KK 13 Nov 1972 [3 Dec 1971] 52254/72 Heading G2H Thermoplastic toner images are fixed by heating to a point between Tg, at which the toner particles begin to pass from a solid to a glass form, and Tm, at which the particles will first flow together to effect a thorough fusion. Preferably the images are carried on copy sheets, and are fixed by passage of the sheets between two heated rollers, between a heated and an unheated roller or between a roller and an endless belt.
