Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily and quickly form an image on the surface of a body where the image is to be formed by transferring a color developing agent onto the surface of said body through a thermal adhesive and overlapping it with the surface of an optical latent image of a photosensitive, pressure-sensitive medium, and pressurizing them. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light from an original 4 is image-formed on the photosensitive, pressure-sensitive medium 2 carrying a microcapsule containing a dye-predriving material and a photosensitive material, thereby forming an optical latent image. One surface of the image-formed body 8 made of paper, cloth, plastic, etc., is overlapped with the thermal adhesive 23 for a two-structured color developing medium 9, and the adhesive 23 is molten by means of a thermal pressure roller 10 to transfer the color developing agent 21 for the medium 9 onto the surface of said body 8. The surface of the medium 9 on which optical latent images are formed is overlapped with the surface of the color developing agent for said body 8. Said image is pressurized by means of a pressurizing roller 11 and developed to form a visible image on said body 8. It is hence sent outside a device from an outlet 12.
