PURPOSE:To readily and quickly form an images on the surface of a body where the image is to be formed by overlapping said body with a photosensitive, pressure-sensitive medium where optical latent images are formed after a color developing agent is transferred onto the surface of said body. CONSTITUTION:The image-formed body 5 made of paper, cloth, plastic, etc., is inserted into an insertion port 16a, and humidified by means of a humidifier 20. Then said body 5 is overlapped with a color developing sheet 1, and is pressurized between rollers 4a and 4b, thereby transferring the color developing agent 3 onto the sheet 1. Reflected light from an original 11 is projected on a microcapsule sheet (photosensitive, pressure-sensitive medium) 9 sent from an uncoiler 15 to form optical latent images. Consecutively, the color developing agent 3 on said body 5 is brought into close contact with a sheet 9, and both of them pass through a pressure roller 13 to form an image of the original 11 on the surface of the color developing agent 3.
