Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the color of an output image from being broken and peeling off and also to prevent the yellowing of the image by interrupting the color developer from air by covering the color on a supporting body with transparent thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The latent image of an original 10 is formed on a microcapsule sheet (photosensitive and pressure-sensitive sheet) 7, and then, supplied in a pressure developing device 3. Meanwhile, a color developing sheet which is obtained by electrostatically applying the color developer S on a normal sheet P by use of a powder applying device 2 is also supplied to the device 3, both sheets are interposed between a pair of pressurizing rollers 14 so as to perform the pressure developed and then, a color image is recorded on the color developing sheet. Next, ionomer resin (transparent thermoplastic resin) T is applied on the image surface of the color developing sheet by a transparent thermoplastic resin applying device 4, and then, heated by a thermal fixation device 4 so as to fix the recorded image on the color developing sheet, and the resin T is fixed so as to cover the color layer.

After placing the original 10 on the original table 11, the user presses a start switch (not shown) to start image recording. Then, the halogen lamp 8 is turned on, and a latent image of the document 10 is formed by exposure on a portion of the microcapsule paper (photosensitive and pressure-sensitive paper) 7 running between the paper feed roll 5 and the take-up roll 6. Microcapsule paper 7 exposed by exposure device 1
is supplied into the pressure developing device 3. On the other hand, in the powder coating device 2, the color developer S is stirred by pressing the start switch, and the color developer S is charged by friction. Then, the developer S is placed on the developer carrying roller 22, adheres to the developer carrying roller 22, and is conveyed to the coating area 27. Also, for plain paper P, guide roller 1
9, it is inserted into the powder coating device 2 through the insertion port. The inserted plain paper P is conveyed to the coating area 27. An electric field suitable for the polarity of the charged developer S is applied to the electrode roller 23 by the power supply, so that the developer S charged by the electrostatic force flies from the developer carrying roller 22 to the plain paper P. , which is electrostatically applied to become color developing paper. The developing paper discharged from the outlet is conveyed by a guide roller 13, and then superimposed on the exposed microcapsule paper 7 and supplied into the pressure developing device 3. The microcapsule paper 7 and the color developer paper supplied to the pressure developing device 3 are sandwiched between a pair of pressure rollers 14 and subjected to pressure development, and a color image is recorded on the color developer paper. The color developing paper subjected to pressure development by the pressure development device 3 is conveyed to the transparent thermoplastic resin coating device 4 . Then, an ionomer resin T (transparent thermoplastic resin) is applied to the surface on which the image is formed using the transparent thermoplastic resin coating device 4 in the same process as the powder coating device 2. Then, after that, the heat fixing device 4
transported to. The color developer paper is heated by the thermal fixing device 4, and the recorded image on the color developer paper is fixed, and the ionomer resin T is also fixed so as to cover the color developer S layer as shown in FIG. Then, it is further conveyed by the guide roller 16 and discharged to the outside of the color image recording apparatus M.
