Abstract
PURPOSE:To save memory capacity and shorten transmission time by giving a fixed corresponding relation to a picture signal and the address of memory by means of a picture position standard signal (synchronous signal) and color phase standard signal (color burst signal) and transmitting and storing only the stated area of the picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A sampling signal generator comprises color burst gate 5 which enters a picture signal from picture signal input terminal 4, color synchronous circuit 6, PLL circuit 7, and quarter dividing circuit 8. Then a sampling signal which is phase-synchronized with the color burst signal with the frequency 4 times larger than that of color burst signal is outputted to picture signal input terminal 4. A clock generated from clock generator 11 whose frequency is integer times larger than that of color burst signal and which is phase-synchronized with the color burst signal is used for reading of a picture signal in picture memory 12 and composite circuit 13 composes a signal read out from memory 12 and a synchronous signal on the basis of the synchronous signal generated from frequency signal generator 10. Then output terminal 14 outputs the original synchronous signal and the color burst signal.
