Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an inverse current by adding simple elements to the chopper type regulated electric power supply for which a duplex transistor is used. CONSTITUTION:A winding 7 is provided to the secondary winding 6 of the transformer for generating the square wave voltage, in the voltage applying direction, and one end of this winding 7 is connected to the base of the duplex transistor 4 through the diode 8. Also, a reactor 10 is inserted between the emitter of the transistor 4 and the cathode of the commutation diode 9. In this way, a carrier decay time of the transistor 4 can be shortened by adding the reactor 10 having a proper value, and the diode 8. Accordingly, as for the transistor 4, the inverse interrupting characteristic is recovered enough, therefore generation of an inverse current can be prevented even if inverse voltage has been applied.
