Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the stabilization of the high voltage power supply device by connecting absorbers in parallel with the primary winding of a high-voltage transformer and improving voltage waveforms. CONSTITUTION:Q1, Q2 are the switching transistors of a switching circuit 2 and are connected push and pull to the primary side of a high-voltage transformer 3. DC voltage VB is so constituted as to be applied across the capactitor C1 which is connected to the neutral terminal of the high-voltage transfomer 3 and resistances R1, R2 for absorbers are respectively connected between the neutral terminal of the primary winding of the high-voltage transformer 3 and both side terminals, i.e., between A-N, N-B. Hence, the voltage waveforms at the A point or B point are improved to the ones close to ideal waveforms and this makes possible pulse width modulation controlling of the base current widths of the transistors Q1, Q2 and permits stabilization of the high-voltage power supply device.
