Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce electric power loss greatly by coupling a control switching element with the AC side of a DC-AC inverter, by controlling it by an error detecting circuit for an output voltage, and by rectifying and feeding its output back to a current source line. CONSTITUTION:A current from a DC current source 11 drives a DC-AC inverter 3, whose output is coupled with a load 12 through an unsaturated transformer and further an error detecting amplifier 10 as an adjusting circuit. The amplifier 10 is equipped with a saturable reactor 23 as a control switching element and the winding of the reactor 23 couples with the winding N'2 of a transformer 24 in series through terminals Q and Q'. The output of the winding N'1 of the transformer 24 is coupled across a diode 28 inserted into a current source line 11 through a rectifier 25 and smoothing circuits 26 and 27 to provide the feedback of electric power to be consumed. The conduction angle of the reactor 23 is controlled by the output of the amplifier 10, and consequently the feedback voltage Vj is controlled. The control over the voltage Vj controls the current of the inverter 3 to hold an output voltage VO to the load constant.
