Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein a plate or a bar is arranged so that it can cross the rotary surface of a heat pipe in the heating gas passage of the titled heat exchanger in which heat pipes are used.
CONSTITUTION: An inner tube 5 and heat pipes 9 rotate together by the rotation of a rotary shaft 6, operating liquid in the heat pipes 9 in contact with a heating gas passage A evaporates, heat transfer occurs by the heat pipes 9 and heat is given to heated gas B. At this time, condensing liquid is sent to the evaporation part by the centrifugal force due to the rotation of the heat pipes 9. Since the plate or the bar 10a is fixed in the heating gas passage A, the heating gas is prevented from rotating together with the rotation of the heat pipes 9 and contact of the heat pipes 9 with gas is improved. Thus, heat exchanging efficiency of the heat exchanger can be improved.
