Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a uniform and efficient cooling of the winding by a method wherein a coolant is injected into each of the layers in the winding from its inside to outside parts. CONSTITUTION:The liquified coolant 14 is forcedly supplied to the collector device 17 by the pump 16 via a feeding pipe 15 and then supplied to a dispersion device 18 arranged inside a group of circular plate windings 2b via conduit 19 in the collector device 17. Thereby, the liquified coolant 14 is dispersed from each of the injection holes to a clearance between each of the circular plate windings 2c from their inner diameter part toward their outer diameter part. The group of circular plate windings 2b is cooled by a thermal capacitance of the liquified coolant 14 and its latent heat generated when the coolant is evaporated.
