Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance cooling efficiency of a transformer by a method wherein two insulating cylinders are provided placing the prescribed intervals between the inside circumference and the outside circumference of a coil, blockading members to blockade between the coil and the respective insulating cylinders are provided, and cooling liquid is made to be scattered up to the inside part of the coil. CONSTITUTION:The coil 2 and a core 3 act as heaters when the transformer is in operation, and cooling liquid 5 to cool thereof is made to be transferred to a dripping device 8 by a pump 7. The transferred cooling liquid 5 forms small drops, and is scattered to the coil 2 and the core 3 as shown with arrow marks 16. The cooling liquid 5 scattered to the coil 2 is made to be transferred as shown with arrow marks 18 by blockading members 17 provided alternately between the insulating cylinders 6a, 6b at the inside circumference and the outside circumference of the coil 2 to cool the coil 2. Insulating gas 4 is filled up in a tank 1, and mixed gas generated by evaporation of cooling liquid is sent to a condenser 9 by a ventilator 10, and cooling liquid is recovered to be used again. Accordingly because cooling liquid is scattered uniformly to the coil, cooling efficiency can be enhanced.
