PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing process by enclosing heat conducting liquid in a roller proper, and by boiling the roller proper by means of an induction heater, and then by sealing the roller proper tight. CONSTITUTION:Heat pipe roller proper 1 has inner cylinder 2 and outer cylinder 3 which is fixed on this inner cylinder 2 concentric with it. The entire roller proper or at least the part of it which generates heat is made of a conducting material such as iron, and heat conducting liquid 5 is enclosed in gap 4 partitioned and formed by inner cylinder 2 and outer cylinder 3. This heat conducting liquid 5 is brought in from opening 16 formed on the side wall of outer cylinder 3. Induction heater 7 whose purpose is to heat the heat conducting liquid is fitted upright on base 8. This heater 7 consists of core 9 and coil 10 which is wound around this core 9, and the coil 10 is connected to AC supply 11. When current flows in coil 10, the roller proper is uniformly heated and uneven heating is prevented.
