Abstract

PURPOSE:To heat the inflammable liquid safely and efficiently by a method wherein metallic pipes are passed through a container containing the liquid, the pipes are heated by induction heating and the heating is controlled on the basis of the temperatures of the liquid and the pipes. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the metallic pipes 3 are passed through the lower part of the metallic container 1 containing the flammable liquid 2, the pipes 3 being in parallel with the bottom surface of the container 1. The pipes 3 are formed of a material having a high effect of generating heat under electromagnetic induction. An induction coil 4 wound in plural turns is passed through the pair of the pipes 3 and is connected with a power source E. A temperature sensor 5a is provided on the inside wall surface of the container 1, while a temperature sensor 5b is provided on the inside wall surface of the upper metallic pipe 3, the outputs from the sensors are fed to a temperature-setting circuit 12 and a semiconductor switch 6 in series with the power source E is controlled through a gate circuit 7.
