Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a decreased fluidity due to a decreased temperature by a method wherein a micro wave is directly projected in a tank for use in transporting and storing a high viscosity material under a pipe transportation method.
CONSTITUTION: Storage tank 2 is arranged at the midway of a transporting line 1 forming a pipe line. Opening 6 is formed at a circumferential wall 4 of a tank 2 and this portion is sealed by a teflon 7 having less power of absorption of micro wave and having a heat-proof characteristic. In the opening are arranged an isolater 11, wave guide pipe 8 and micro wave oscillator 10, and the pipe 1 is connected to the ground at 9. High viscosity material A is heated under an electric inductor to make a superior fluidity. Temperature measuring sensor for the pipe 1 is arranged, the oscillator 10 is controlled by the signal and thereby a temperature of the transported material is controlled.
