Abstract
PURPOSE:To determine the protein amount in a sample with good accuracy by using a reagent contained the dye expressed by the specific formula, methyl cellulose and an acid as effective components. CONSTITUTION:The reagent for protein analysis contains the dye expressed by the formula (I), methyl cellulose and an acid as effective components. This reagent is obtd. by first boiling refined water, then adding methyl cellulose thereto with agitation, further adding refined water thereto to prepare an aqueous methyl cellulose sonl., then dissolving the dye of the formula (I) into the aqueous methyl cellulose slon. and mixing an aqueous soln. in this soln. at ordinary temp.
