Abstract
PURPOSE: To always obtain an optimum air amount by an air flow rate regulator for a burning device for burning mixed various fuels by detecting the flow rates of the respective fuels per unit calorific values, multiplying them by predetermined coefficient by a multiplier for producing theoretical air flow rate signals of the respective fuels.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel flow rare regulating valve 22 is so operated by a fuel flow rate regulator 19 that the sum of the output from a comparator 7 for obtaining the difference between the main steam pressure and target pareesure by a main steam pressure gauge 1 and the outputs from flow meters 2W4 for respective fuels AWC. At this time theoretical air flow rate signals obtained by multiplying the outputs of the respective flow meters 2W4 by predetermined coefficient by multipliers 13W15 are applied to multipliers 16W18, respectively. A steam consumption signal from a steam flow rate meter 5 is applied to function generators 10W12 for generating functions of calorific values vs. excessive air coefficient as to the respective fuels, and the outputs from the generators 10W12 are applied to the multipliers 16W18, respectively. These multipliers thus calculate actual necessary air amount. Thus, the sum signal obtained by an adder 19 is applied to a regulator 20 to thus operate an air flow rate regulating valve 21.
