Abstract
PURPOSE: To allow accurate and rapid control corresponding to the excess and efficiency of the quantity of the energy of steam, by controlling the quantity of energy fed between a main engine and a feed device on the basis of the pressure of steam functioning as a power source of a turbine generator.
CONSTITUTION: A main engine 1 and the turbine generator side containing a turbine generator 5 drive by the steam of an exhaust gas boiler 2 and a feed device 8 are connected in such a manner that energy is supplied to the turbine generator 5 side from the main engine 1 when the energy of steam is less than energy necessary for the feed of power required in a ship, and fed to the main engine 1 from the turbine generator 5 through a feeder 10 when the former is more than the latter. Meanwhile, an exhaust gas boiler 4 or a steam pressure detector 16 of said steam passage are connected to the energy feeder 10, and the quantity of energy fed ofthe energy feeder 10 is adjustment controlled on the basis of a pressure signal from the detector 16.
