Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce the captioned superior roll surely and easily by inserting a plurality of sleeves of different inside diameters in series into the cylindrical inside surface of an outside chiller and performing centrifugal casting by the tripple molds inserted with a barrel frame of dissimilar cylindrical form on the inside surface thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Sleeves 4, 5 are inserted into the cylindrical inside surface of an outside chiller 3. Also, a dissimilar diameter cylindrical barrel frame 10 to be inserted in close contact with the inside diametral surfaces 4a, 5a of the sleeves 4, 5 are inserted therein, after which sand molds 6, 6 for forming the neck parts of the roll are incorporated to both ends of the outside chiller 3 to form tripple molds.
