Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a system for operating a fluid machine, in which a bypass passage is branched from the intake passage of a pressure fluid operated machine and a valve opened and closed in response to signal is provided at a portion of the said bypass passage, whereby it is enabled to protect valves from being eroded by erosive fluid and to accomplish effective fluid control.
CONSTITUTION: In general, combustion gas contains highly corosive components. Such a combustion gas is led via inlet control valve 11 into expander 1 consisting of pressure fluid operated machine. Turning force produced by expander 1 is transmitted to an apparatus 2 to be driven, thus restoring energy possessed by the combustion gas. Gas introduced into the expander 1 is passed through the control valve 11 which is opened and closed by controller 3. Further, there is provided a by-pass passage 13 by-passing expander 1, and at a portion of this by-pass passage 13, there is provided a valve 12 which is opened and closed fully by an on-off oscillator 4. The valve 12 serves also to protect valves from erosive gas.
