Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid wasting a fluid even for a small quantity by constructing a pressure control device so that all quantity of the fluid discharged into the pipeline from the pilot valve is discharged into the supply pipe in its final stage.
CONSTITUTION: In a pressure control device, the fluid discharged into pipelines 54, 57 from pilot valve 11 is finally discharged into supply pipe 5, and the fluid flowing in pipe 5 is consumed in the lower stream of pipe 5. When pressure control valve 4 is totally closed, nozzle 46 of pilot valve 11 is closed. Hence, it is possible to prevent an abnormal pressure rise inside the lower stream piping at the time when the pressure control valve is totally closed. The pressure of the fluid in the upper stream of valve part 4b is reduced to a specified pressure by pressure reducing valve 59, and this pressure-reduced fluid is supplied to diaphragm chamber 8b of pressure control valve 4. The opening and closing speed of pressure control valve 4 can be very easily adjusted by the operation of variable restrictor 60.
