Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a accident, by interposing a ball in an opening between a gas outlet nozzle and a changeover valve adapted for opening/closing a gas outlet port and by causing the ball to float and to shut off a gas passage hole when gas outflow is excessive.
CONSTITUTION: To supply gas, a knob 6 is rotated in a direction for causing the gas to outflow while an upper end portion of a stop plate 9 is thrusted by a finger. As a result, the hole 5b of a changeover valve 5 is aligned with an outlet port (a) of a gas chamber A and the gas flows out of a nozzle 3. When a gas hose comes off from the nozzle 3 and the gas flows out of the nozzle 3 at an excessive flow rate, a ball 4 is buoyed up by the flow of the gas, slides up along a slope 3a of the nozzle 3 and shuts off a gas passage port 3b. When the gas pipe is connected again and a hole 5c of the changeover valve 5 is coincided with an outlet port 1a, the gas in gas chambers B, C flows out through the outlet port 1a and the ball 4 descends by its own weight to the original position so that the gas can be supplied again.
