Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the variation of the pressure in regenerating tower by allowing the difference between the air flow amount at the inlet of the regenerating tower and the gas flow amount of an expansion turbine to drive the expansion turbine bypass valve and allowing the gas flow amount at the exit of the regenerating tower to follow the air flow amount at the inlet of the regenerating tower.
CONSTITUTION: An air compressor 2 is driven by a steam turbine 1, and air 21 is supplied to a regenerating tower 5. The air feeding amount is controlled by supplying signal to the governor 7 in the flow amount control system 15 and controlling the steam 20 by a valve 8. The gas 22 generated in the regenerating tower 5 is divided into the expansion turbine side 25 and the bypass side 23. After minute particles are removed by a cyclone 6, the gas 25 in the expansion turbine side flows into an expansion turbine 3 through a valve 10. The gas 23 in the bypass side, after the flow rate is controlled by a valve 9, joins with the gas which passed through the expansion turbine and forms into sending-out gas 16. The air amount at the inlet of the regenerating tower is metered by a flow meter 12, and the gas flow amount of the expansion turbine is metered by a flow meter 13, and the difference between the both is transformed to the precedent control signal for the regenerating tower pressure control system.
