Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the pressure-raising operation inscribed on the face at a low cost, by connecting a by-pass pipe, located between a blast furnace gas purifier and a pressure-control valve or a power generator, through an ejector to a branched gas pipe from a main blast furnace gas pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Blast furnace gas generated from a blast furnace 1 is purified by letting it flow through a dry dust catcher 2 and a wet Venturi scrubber 3, decompressed by a pressure-control valve 4 or a gas turbine power generator 5, and then introduced into a main blast furnace gas pipe 6. On the other hand, blast furnace gas for a hot blast stove is introduced from the main pipe 6 into a low-pressure blast furnace gas pipe 7 for the hot blast stove and then into an ejector 8. High-pressure gas is introduced and injected into the ejector 8 through a high-pressure blast furnace gas by pass 9 provided with a pressure-control valve 10 arranged at the outlet side of the scrubber 3, so that the low-pressure gas from the pipe 7 is raised to a fixed pressure level and fed into the hot blast stove 12. In this case, the valve 10 is controlled by an output from a pressure controller 14 so as to control a pressure inside a medium-pressure blast furnace gas pipe 11 at a fixed level.
