Abstract

PURPOSE: To discharge uncombusted gas completely by locating the inlet portion of purge air into gas fuel system between a stop valve and a flow control valve and to augment amount of purge air at the time of starting gas turbine by introducing air discharged from starting spray air compressor into the purge system.
CONSTITUTION: In an air spray type double-combustion gas turbine using gas fuel and also liquid fuel, joining portion of purge air line 42 and gas fuel line 9 is located at 43 between stop valve 11 and flow control valve 12. Further, line 45 for extracting and joining air discharged from starting spray air compressor 25 is connected to line 44 for extracting spray air from the inlet portion of manifold 21 of compressed air line 16. With such an arrangement, uncombusted gas in the gas fuel line can be discharged completely in purging the gas fuel system during the while when gas turbine is operated with liquid fuel, and sufficient amount of purge air can be obtained at the time of starting so that uncombusted gas can be discharged completely to the outside of the system.
