Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a wrong ignition at a time when a turbine starts and to stabilize a starting, by purging in such a manner that introduces discharge air of a gas turbine, whose pressure is increased, to a liquid fuel passage of a nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A purging air pipe 19 is connected with a liquid feeding pipe 4 running to a nozzle 2 of a gas turbine and at a discharge side of a check valve 5, and the pipe 19 is also connected with a discharge port of a turbine compressor. The compressor rotates with the turbine driven, and discharge air comes in a cylinder 24A through the pipe 19 and as a result it increases the pressure of the compressed air in the cylinder 24A. The air comes in the liquid fuel feeding pipe 4, and purges a fuel remaining in a liquid fuel pipe of the nozzle 2 and in a nozzle tip. Next, an air fuel is injected into a burner 1 from an air fuel feeding pipe 3 thorugh an air fuel passage of the nozzle 2. And thus, an excessive supply of the air fuel to the burner 1 can be eliminated, and a reliable ignition and a steady starting can be performed.
