Abstract

PURPOSE: To restrict the ignition sound of a burning device when starting its combustion and smoothly transfer the ignited combustion to a rated combustion by setting fuel amount injected from a pressure injection nozzle lower at the combustion igniting time that at the rated combustion time and thereafter gradually increasing the fuel amount.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel is supplied from a fuel tank 25 by a pressure pump 26 through a pipe 27 to the fuel supply port 29 of a return injection nozzle 28. A return circuit 32 having a solenoid pressure relief valve 31 on its mid-way is connected to a fuel return port 30 to return part of fuel to the fuel tank 25. The valve 31 incorporates an inlet 33 and an outlet 34, and is controlled under its pressure by a current controller 35. Then, the cumbustion level of a burning device at the combustion starting time is set at the minimum combustible level, and after igniting the fuel, fuel amount is gradually increased continuously steplessly by the valve 31 to the rated combustion level. Thus, the ignition sound of the burning device when starting the combustion is restricted, and transfer to the rated combustion is stabilized.
