Abstract

PURPOSE: To make effective use of gas calorific value and achieve the reduction of cost by providing an ejector which recovers exhaust gas on exhaust pressure line and using the exhaust gas of the clean gas line as its driving source.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas in a furnace top hopper 6 is led to an ejector 11 through a pressure exhaust pipe 7, dust collector 8 and pressure exhaust line 11. The clean gas led from a clean gas line 13 is used as the driving source of an ejector 11 and is blown from an injection nozzle 18 to lower the pressure in the exhaust pressure line 10 and let the residual pressure in the hopper 6 exhaust into a clean gas pipe 4 so that its release into the atmosphere is obviated. The pressure exhausting from the inside of the hopper 6 is accomplished while the gas pressure led from the clean gas line 13 is being regulated by a flow control valve 14. This mechanism enables the pressure in the hopper 6, suction time, pulsation of downstream of the ejector, etc. in the blast furnace gas recovery to be readily adjusted and the recovered gas to be used as an energy source.
