Abstract
PURPOSE: To control turbine outlet gas so as not to be saturated with moisture and to prevent the condensation of moisture in a turbine by passing a part of a blast furnace gas to a heater at the time of conducting said gas to a driving power recovering turbine after dry dust removal.
CONSTITUTION: The gas discharged from the top of a blast furnace 1 is passed through a dry dust remover 4 and is conducted to a driving force recovering turbine 8 of furnace top pressure. The inlet part of the turbine 8 and the opening located in the level drop inlet part of the 2nd and subsequent steps or the opening of static vanes having gas passages are communicated with a passage 15, and a heater 15 is provided in this passage 15. A part of the gas is conducted to the passage 15 and is elevated of temp. A relative humidity detector 20 is provided in the discharge pipe 10 of the turbine 8, and the supply of a heating medium to the heater 16 and the flow rate of a by-pass gas are controlled by the detection signal 21 thereof, whereby the relative humidity of the outlet gas of the turbine 8 is kept at a constant value. Thereby, the prevention of the moisture condensation in the turbine 8, the prevention of erosion of vanes, and the prevention of dust accumulation on vanes are made possible.
