Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrode having flexibility and small amount of bonding agent by coating the paste which is formed by adding silicone resin dispersion to positive electrode active substance powder and mixing them, onto the plate core body, and drying the paste. CONSTITUTION:A positive electrode 1 is formed through the process in which the paste obtained by adding silicone resin dispersion containing 2-5wt% of silicone resin for manganese dioxide into the mixture which contains manganese dioxide as active agent and acetylene black as conductive agent and mixing them, is coated onto the plate core body made of stainless screen, and afterwards, water content is removed by heat treatment at 300 deg.C in vacuum. This positive electrode 1 is combined with a negative electrode 2 through a separator 3, and an electrode group rolled-up in spiral form is formed. Thus, the amount of bonding agent can be reduced, and the filling amount of positive electrode active substance can be increased, and flexibility can be maintained, and the processing is made enough only by heating to remove moisture, and working efficiency can be improved.
