Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the quality of water at high accuracy, by comparing the detected value of O2 concentration in each room of the aeration tank with the arbitrarily set value, and by adjusting the amount of air supply for each room so as to make the distribution pattern of dissolved oxygen concentration in each room to be optimum.
CONSTITUTION: The O2 concentration in each room AWD of the aeration tank 1 is detected by each O2 concentration detector 5aW5d; these detected values are inputted to the air supply controller 6 which is inputted the return sludge concentration signal 8 and the water quality signal 9 for the influent sewage from other parts. Hereby, the controller 6 takes in the signal 8 and the signal 9 as the data, and determines the optimum pattern of the dissolved oxygen concentration in each room AWD. The controller 6 compares this optimum pattern with the actually detected value of each room, and adjusts the air supply control valves 4aW4d for each room so as to make the distribution condition of the dissolved O2 concentration of each room to coincide with the optimum pattern, and generates the control signals 7aW7d. As a result, the distribution pattern of dissolved O2 concentration in the aeration tank 1 can be controlled to the optimum condition at excellent accuracy.
