Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize charging operation by detecting the instant an a-c voltage at a transformer output is reversed, causing a switch circuit connected between a power transformer and an exciting condenser to be conductive, and then putting it in its non-conductive state when the charged voltage value in the condenser has reached its setting voltage. CONSTITUTION:A parallel circuit composed of a first series circuit of a resistor r1 and SCR1 and a second series circuit of a resistor r2 and SCR2 is connected between a transformer T and an exciting condenser C, and a condenser C2 is inserted across the coupling points between the resistors and SCR, respectively. In this circuit, the condenser C is charged through the resistor r1 and SRC1, and SCR1 is turned off by r2, SCR2 and C2. If a monomultivibrator 1 is operated through a transistor Tr1 with the cophase voltage V2(t) derived from the transformer T, SCR1 can be rendered conductive at the instant the power source voltage reverses. SCR1 will return automatically to its non- conductive state when the divided voltags K.Vc(t) of the voltage across the condenser C becomes equal to the reference voltage Es.
