Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible measurement of DC electrostatic capacity in a fixed period regardless of the electrostatic capacity of a condenser to be measured by constituting a power supply whose voltage increases at a fixed ratio against time. CONSTITUTION:A fixed current circuit is constituted with FETQ1 and a resistance R. If a switch S is opened, a condenser C1 is charged by means of a DC power supply E and an interterminal voltage climbs up at a fixed ratio with time. This soaring voltage is converted in terms of impedance under the emitter follower action of Q2, so that a power supply 1 whose voltage increases at a fixed ratio against time is obtained. This output current is applied to a condenser C2 to be measured through the intermediary of a DC ammeter A. Thus the electrostatic value of the C2 is obtained based on the reading of the ammeter A.
