PURPOSE:To enable to change the ON and OFF time of the output according to the change in the power supply voltage, with shorter ON-OFF time when the power supply voltage is greater and smaller time when smaller. CONSTITUTION:When the power supply is fed, the capacitor 4 is charged through resistors 5 and 6. When the charging voltage increases to the reference voltage V1, the output of the comparator 3 is ON and it decreases to the ground potential. Then, the charging current of the capacitor 4 is bypassed and the discharge path is formed with a resistor 12, capacitor 4, diode 7 and comparator 3. In this case, the diode 11 is back-biased. Accordingly, even if the input voltage V2 of the comparator 3 closes to zero voltage, the voltage waveform at the discharge of the capacitor 4 is not fallen gradually, but linearly into V2. When the voltage of the capacitor 4 reaches V2, the reference voltage of the comparator 3 increases to V1.
