Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time of switching by connecting a primary winding of a transformer in parallel to a switching transistor via a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Once switcing transistor 12 turns off, electric current flows through a primary winding of transformer 15 by way of electric power source 11 and resistance 14, and consequently base current supplied from a secondary winding (b) to driving transistor 13, triggering the transistor. The collector current of the amplified base current is positively fed back from a tertiary winding (c) to a secondary winding (b) to turn on transistor 13 sufficiently. When transistor 12 is turned on to turn off transistor 13, capacitor 18 is discharged by way of winding (a) since a closed circuit of winding (a) is constituted via capacitor 18 in terms of alternating current, and consequently electromotive force applying a reverse bias between the base and emitter of transistor 13 is generated across a secondary winding (b), turning off transistor 13 in a short time.
