Abstract

If the current of the switch element 30 is abnormally greater and it is required to increase the interrupting capability, a switch 11 is triggered in synchronizing with switches 4, 4' for turning off. Then, power supply 1 and the capacitor 13 are connected in series and the voltages are applied between the cathode and gate of the switch element 30, allowing to turn off the switch element 30 surely.
