Abstract
PURPOSE:To attach the uniform thin-films of a concentrated liquid on the inside surface of walls of heat transmission tubes by a mechanism wherein holes are formed at the centers of the inserting portions of the upper portions of liquid dispersers and discharge holes are further made up radially in the lateral direction from the holes. CONSTITUTION:Liquid dispersers 5 are provided to the upper ends of heat transmission tubes 4 vertically fitted to tube plates 2, 3 in a cylindrical drum 1. A liquid to be concentrated is supplied from an upper inlet 6, passes through the holes 12 of the dispersers 5 and flows down while keeping appropriate liquid depth in a liquid chamber 7, collides with lower discs 16, passes through discharge holes 13 and reaches the inside of walls of the heat transmission tubes while being radially dispersed on the discs, passes through voids formed by the inside surface of walls of the heat transmission tubes and the circumference of the discs 16, and flows down along the inside surface of walls of the heat transmission tubes as uniform thin-films. A diameter of the hole 12 is decided by the liquid depth of the liquid to be concentrated and the quantity of the liquid supplied per the unit width of the heat transmission tubes. Thus, the liquid can equally be fed to each heat transmission tube.
